Ah, your blog is just... getting me all dreaming about moving abroad again! I can't believe it's been nearly two years since I *returned*!!!

Thanks for sharing your process. I definitely related to what you said -- about enjoying moving. For some reason, I can't think about traveling abroad without MOVING abroad. I think: well, two weeks of vacation just ISN'T enough time! I need to live, to experience the daily subtleties and intricacies of a different life. OH I LOVE LIVING ABROAD SO MUCH... ahhhhhh :) <3 Your blog is reawakening my nomadic soul, which I have been suppressing!

" I will be straight with you. Moving abroad will not be easy, but if you want to do it then figure out a way so it does not become a future regret. I love the mantra that 'Life is Short, Live every Moment'."

I whole heartedly agree and live by those words, the trouble is the UK has shut the door on non-EU immigrants. It is nearly impossible for U.S. citizens to move there unless you go to University or are lucky enough to get a job sponsorship, and those are very, very rare. My son has his dual-citizenship yet I have not right to live there. Very sad because I love my country and yes, I call it "my country" because that is where my heart was and still is. I have a lot to offer it but can't.
