I think traveling as a teenager can make trips better in their own way. Teenagers are just less shy about showing their excitement. It sounds like a great trip. I love the old photographs!

Oh wow looks like you had an amazing time, I love the analogue photos Athens also holds wonderful memories for me, I visited it with my father who was so inspired and interested in Ancient history it was like having a personal guide. I think I am going to join this wonderful linky as well
