When we moved to Sweden we paid for cargo shipping via ship and while it was expensive at the time I am so happy to have all of the stuff I do, which I am sure some would say is bad but I do not care. Also I would rather buy a dish than a pair of shoes so I am sure that has something to do with it!

I love the cake server! I also need to collect more “grown up” things for serving guests…. I parted with way too many belongings when I moved overseas. My husband was already here when we married so the military wouldn’t ship any of my things. I moved with only two suitcases in tow and 95% of that was clothes. I literally brought none of my “possessions” with me. Just the bare necessities and at the time that was clothes and shoes! lol Now I wish I had a few more sentimental items

we put all of our wedding gifts in storage when we moved since it was just four months after our wedding. i can’t go back and have ‘real’ kitchen supplies and dinnerware! that cake server is gorgeous, funny how the small things can get us so excited : )

Ahh I wish I had a friend here to catch up over tea with… Sigh….
