wow bonnie, beautifully written. i’m so sorry to hear about your loss. just as it is unnatural for parents to lose their children, i think it’s just as unnatural for children to lose their parents at a young age. how wonderful that your boys remind you of him, just proof that he will forever live on.

This was so hard for me to read. My dad is having open heart surgery tomorrow. They say he’s going to be fine, but I have been struggling a lot. I can’t imagine not even for one second losing him. I feel like my life would be over. He’s just such an amazing man!!! I’m so sorry that you lost your dad. He sounded like he was amazing as well. Very handsome! I hope you find comfort in that he lives on through you and your sons.

Molly that is definitely the hardest part about death. I feel like now in my life I try to photograph everything and tell those in my life who matter how much I love them. Sorry to hear about the loss of your dad. Unexpectedly and quickly was my dad’s circumstances too and not having the time to even say ‘i love you’ once more is hard. Thoughts with you today on this first Father’s day Molly. x

Such a beautifully written and moving letter. I lost my Dad just over six months ago (unexpectedly and quickly) so I am left with the disappointment of not saying the things I wish I had or sharing the things I go through now. Thanks for sharing. ♡
