I’m like you, because I fly in and out of the US on my American passport, and in and fly around Europe on my Irish passport, I don’t have any stamps. My passport is very boring

Wow you are one brave lady, I hate being away from my boys for any length of time let alone months! Can’t believe you leave packing until the day before you travel, just the thought of it makes me panic! 😀

I can only imagine how horrible leaving your kids to get on the bus was–the photo says a lot. A post-bus hug–because that sounded gut wrenching.

I am not a mum yet so I do not know how that would feel - but your photo conveys it very clearly. I felt bereft leaving my husband behind in the US so I can olnly imagine how much more of an emotional pull it would have been with a child.

I cannot imagine driving away from your son like that, last year I made a last minute trip to California and when Fredrik left me on the train we were both in tears and it was horrible.
