Aw this is so cute! I loved the Nutcracker growing up and this is so much better than the whole elf deal (I agree with you–he’s a tad creepy). Can’t wait to see more of his Christmas adventures!

That is such a cute idea! And what a lovely way to make a new family tradition. We have “Sinterklaas” here in the Netherlands which might be something similar to St Nicholas in Germany (but I’m not sure). It is usually celebrated by families with younger children and turned into some sort of secret santa for those with older children. I have great memories of this family tradition.

Such a great tradition! We don’t really have Christmas traditions, besides eating with both sides of the family. But during Sinterklaas we write poems and buy gifts for someone, kind of like secret santa.
