Haha it is true that Americans and Brits have very different ways of communicating information – I’m English but grew up in the U.S., so I can “speak” both of them. The tea thing is very funny.

Another thing people often don’t get is that if my mum is being very, very polite (especially at the DMV or something), she is probably actually very, very angry.
