I have NEVER met an Italian that hasn't asked me, after they find out I'm Canadian why I would move to Italy. They have no idea that North Americans would love to live in Europe. Beautiful photos in this post. I have to say that I equally love city and country getaways for different reasons. I was born in the country and after a brief spell in a city for University and a period on the urban fringe I am back where I feel happiest – a deeply rural setting. However because I spend so much time in amongst Nature’s beauty I do enjoy the odd trip to cities … just not too often!!

Country with a city about an hour away! I like the peace and quiet and food but also like to keep up with restaurants and the city food scene.
