I think social media *can* make it easier to perpetuate friendships that have already run their course. Saying goodbye can be hard, but you're right – it's not personal…it's just the way things go. I'm going through a similar period with blogging, so you aren't alone! I think I want to do something different with my blog, but I'm still figuring out what that looks like and how to make that happen. We can cheer each other on. :)

I do feel like this sometimes… particularly with Facebook, a medium which mostly scares the crap out of me to know that someone I had a class with once ten years ago is reading about my daily life stuff. Buuuut it has proven itself so good for connections and rekindling friendships that I find myself holding back. People take Facebook really personal… if anything, I’ve restricted who exactly can see my posts and just moved personal stuff to IG or Twitter.
