Here is my favourite photo from the baby shower. Look how intently Ronan is watching his presents be unwrapped! The booties he is wearing came directly from the ladies at the chiesa di cristo in napoli, italia!

BIG DAY…now we are tired!
Today was Ronan’s baby shower in Tucson! It was a lot of fun and Ronan was very good! By the time it was over, Ronan was past out on his boppy. It was so cute to see his little tummy moving up and down with each breath he took! Thank you Auntie Rose for the wonderful shower, delicious cake, yummy angel food cake n’ strawberries, and hot tea! Thank you everyone for all the wonderful gifts.
Love, Ronan
Gila Monster!
Look at the huge Gila Monster we saw right outside our house!!!! IT wanted to get into the garage! We didnt let Ronan get too close, because if the gila monster bites you, you have to go with the gila monster to the vet to get it removed!
"I gotta shot….7 of them!"
Today Ronan went to the clinic to get pricked 3 times to receive 7 shots. The poor guy was so upset because it hurt. Still now he is sad and you can tell his legs are sore. We are feeding him and bathing him and trying to keep him as comfortable as possible. Right now he is swaddled and in daddy’s arms as he is drifting off to sleep. I hope this little baby will get a goodnights rest, not just for us, but for him so he does not have to think about his owwie. Ronan you were so brave today and Daddy and I love you! XXOO
9.5 Hours of sleep! Can you believe it?
The last two nights Ronan got an average of 7-8 hours of sleep and last night he slept for about 9 and a half hours…and he didnt even budge when the car alarm went off an hour before he finally woke up. Then when the little angel woke up, he didnt start crying right away, but was happily cooing on his own. I picked him up to feed him and he was just the happiest baby I have ever seen…he definitly woke up on the right side of the crib. Here he is chewing playfully on his blue bear’s ear:
It has been really nice being back at home with my family. Though most of the time, Ronan and I are own our own, its nice to have a break and be able to give him to Nonna or Grandpa. Ryan has been busy with secret shopper assignments and getting in super top shape for Basic, but still has time to play with Ronan, change him, and help at bathtimes. I do not know what I will do after Ryan leaves for Basic…boy will Ronan grow so much while he is away. But I know the look on Ronan’s face (of excitement and shear happiness) when Ryan comes home from Basic, will be priceless. Awww….as I have been writting this, little RoRo has finally calmed down, closed his eyes, and is off in dream land. I knew he was tired, and though he fought hard, he is finally sleeping…
