We are going to Monterey to see Daddy for the 4th of July weekend! I got our plane tickets and hotel reservations yesterday. Ryan called yesterday and it was nice to hear from him. He says the views of Monterey from the base are just gorgous! He also said it is pretty cool, so I’ll finally get to wear my new jacket from old navy. Zoe is going to take us tommrow. So that is the good news. The bad news is I don’t know how much longer Baci will be with us. The reason he has been limping is because he either has cancer or valley fever. It looks like he may not last another six months, but nothing is certain yet. I had to take Ronan and Baci to the vet by myself today. Which ended up not being as hard as I thought. He got some blood work done and we should know the results in the next week or so. Please keep Baci and my family in your prayers. He is a member of our family and I know it will be really hard on us, especially on my sister Zoe. She has been taking care of my puppy since I left for college.
Ronan was a little angel on our flight to Vegas and our flight back home. He was wearing his pjs and ready to go to bed. Zoe met us at the airport and we got our bags. As I was putting them in the trunk of the car, I didn’t realize how close Zoe and Ronan were. When I closed it, Ronan started crying. I could tell by the way he was crying that he was hurt. I checked his fingers but didn’t see anything wrong. Then I saw his pinky toe and that it was bleeding. Zoe rushed us to the ER as Ronan and I cried together. He got xrays taken and it showed there was no damage to the bone. Though he did get his toe pinched really good. A nurse cleaned it up for us and we went home. It was 3 am by the time we walked into the house with all our bags. I think the main thing was that Ronan and I were both scared. Not having Ryan here to help comfort us, was hard. We cannot wait to get out to Monterey. I could leave in a day’s notice if needed. Ryan we love you and miss you so much!
I have posted the photos from the graduation on a different blog called: Ryan’s BMT Graduation. You can get to it by clicking the link in the side bar to the right or by clicking the text directly. Enjoy!
Thank you everyone for all your prayers, letters, emails, and support through these past two months! To God be the Glory!
