Well we did a lot today. We picked up around the house and sorted out laundry before the maids came. When the got here we all cleared out of the house to give them room to clean. We dropped Nonna off at class and thats when we went to the park. We came back and had to go get copies of paperwork and head to the post office. We mailed some things to daddy and got much needed stamps. Ronan took naps off and on again between being cuddled by family members. Then he tuckerd out in the swing, where he is now as I type. I think I have written Ryan three letters today…in fact I have. I wrote him one that I stuck in the envelope with some paperwork he needed. I wrote a postcard this afternoon and mailed it at the P.O. Then tonight I wrote another letter which I put in the mailbox tommrow morning. I really missed Ryan today I think. I still have over three weeks till I see him…Hopfully he will be able to write me a letter back! Take Care Ryan, we love you!

Take me out to the BALL GAME…

Here is a photo I took of Nonna and RoRo yesterday. Here he is pretty happy. He is not so happy with me right now. I have clipped his tiny finger with the nail clippers and now he is with Grandpa. There was lots of blood (well to me there was) but now the bleeding has stopped. He cried at first but then he calmed down and was not scared anymore. He is a pretty brave little boy. I just feel terrible…this is my second time doing this to him. His nails are sooo long, but its so hard to trim! I feel awful! Good thing we are going to the baseball game tonight. Hopefully he will forgvie me!

A few weeks ago Ryan suggested we go to a baseball game in Pheonix before he leaves for basic. His recruiter thought that all the new recruits should go see a game together. We wanted to go with them, but decided taking Ronan might not be the best idea. Then Grandpa Chuck brought up the idea of eating at Fridays so that we could see the game from the table. What a great idea! So Grandpa Chuck got the tickets for May 2.

But then Ryan found out he was shipping out early and was not able to go. Thanks for the idea Ryan! We offered a toast to Ryan at dinner for his great idea. Nonna was not feeling well at all tonight, so it ended up just being Grandpa, Ronan, and I. We tried to eat $60 of food each to make up the difference, so by the time we left…the thought of food was digusting to me….i was soooo full! (Tommrow I’m doing pilates!!!)

You get a lot of attention when you are pregnant and strangers come out of the woodwork and touch your belly. Then when you have the baby all the attention goes to him. What I didn’t expect was how much attention we would get with little RoRo. It seems everywhere we go, EVERYONE is coming up to say how cute he is. I’m a little biased when it comes to that comment, but I admit it feels really nice hearing that. Lets see we had people talking about him and his stroller on the walk up to the ballpark, then every single waitress (and even a few waitors and the manager!) would come up and say something to Ronan or us about Ronan (one or more times). Other customers at Friday’s came up to comment on Ronan. One even offered to take our photo (as seen here). The manager thinks he should be in baby magazines (lol…little does she know that is in the works!). Then walking back to the car more people came over to see the little dude. So now was the night about the baseball game? OR did Ronan steal the show? (sigh…it is just the beginning…)
