Ronan helped me pack our suitcases and get ready for our flight. We went with Nonna to a scrapbooking session before we had to leave for the Airport. Ronan slept the whole time. He was a very good flyer and everyone kept commenting on how cute and how good he was being.

We’re leaving tommrow!
Today is packing day. I need to pack our bags for San Antonio. I also want to see if I’ll have time to pack up things around the room today too. I do not know how soon we will have to move out to Monterey. I am hoping we will be out there for 4th of July.
I know it will be hard to believe, but I didn’t take a single picture of Ronan yesterday. Which is especially hard to believe because it was Father’s Day and Ronan turned 5 months. There were no fathers present (though we talked about putting a ‘happy fathers day’ hat on baci and letting him fill in for pictures) and Ronan ended up sleeping most of the day on the couch. It was amazing he went to sleep at 2000 and that he slept through the night. (Of course we were up at 0500!) Mum and I have been doing a LOT of scrapbooking. Now that I have the right tools, it is really easy for me to design and create pages. I am having a lot of fun. The scrapbook is all about Ronan. I am almost finish with the first section: Pregnacy, birth, and coming home from the hospital. I cannot remember how many pages that I’ve finished for this section.
Ronan is telling me its time I do something. He is eating my arm… Maybe Ryan will be allowed to call today! I hope so! I miss you baby!

I came in to check on Ronan, during his morning nap, and he had pulled the blanket over his face. I thought this picture was cute. I had given up that Ryan would call today, and yet early this evening he called. He only had ten minutes, but it was good to talk to him since the last phone call over a week ago. He really enjoyed Warrior Week and his flight did the best. They earned a banner to put on their flag. He did get Chinese and his classes start the 5th of July. I can move out there once Ryan has. I’m hoping it won’t take long to arrange all the logistics to get us out there. Other than that he is really excited to see Ronan and I. We leave tommrow and I can’t wait till then!
Happy Fathers Day – Ronan is 5 months old!
Today Ronan turned five months old! What a big boy! What a way to celebrate Father’s Day! Actually, Ronan and I have two gifts for Ryan for Father’s Day….we’ll just celebrate it a little late. Maybe Ryan will be able to call today so we can wish him a happy Father’s Day!
Happy Birthday Nonna!

Today is Nonna’s BIG birthday! We made her breakfast in bed and displayed a homemade card on her tray. Then we went to base to order a sofa for our new home. We bought some scrapbooking supplies from Joyce and then Joyce came to the house too. Nonna and I did some scrapbooking and then we took Ronan to the pool. He really liked the big pool and had fun swimming. He looked pretty cool in his swimtrunks and bright orange hat. He got compliments too. He got a little scared once when he went head first in the water and swallowed some. He started coughing a lot and getting a little upset. I remained calm and he didn’t stop breathing. Then he was happy as a clam and was excited to swim again. That a boy! What a trooper! You’re Daddy would be so proud! We ordered out food for Nonna’s bday and ate at home. We love you Nonna! Happy –th birthday!

These are some pictures I took after we had gone to the pool. I had taken the camera with me but left the memory card at home by mistake. So no pictures of him in the pool….sorry! He looked so cute in the car seat though. He was covered with two towels to keep him warm and all you could see were some toes and his face.
