Nonna and I took Ronan to the best place to get a ‘proper cup of tea’ in Tucson. Actually the only place in town that knows how to make tea properly and is owned and staffed by Brits. Our host told us how a lot of people come in and ask when ‘high tea’ is….Some times he tells them they can sit on the roof and have tea if they would like.
How funny! Can you guess what we had to eat? One of mummy’s favourite dishes: Cottage pie (Brit style) with cabbage and peas! Yum Yum! Then when we went to the commissary on base, we found HP sauce and real Heinz Bake Beans in tomato sauce! Beans on toast anyone? Ronan wants to know when he gets his British passport!

Ronan got to meet our waitress’s little girl who is only a few months older than he is. She is half British too because her daddy is a Brit. Oh and if you are wondering, no Ronan did not want any chocolate cake. He did want to eat the table cloth though. I had to keep saving the cloth from his grasp so he didn’t poor mummy’s tea on her lap!

At the ladies bible study at Jessica’s house Ronan was a little tired and started fussing. So Nonna and I showed him the fish tank. He was instantly mesmorized… He is just like his daddy in the way that he just loves fish tanks. Uh oh…Will mummy come home and find you and daddy putting together a fish tank (like my mummy did with me and my daddy?)?
Letters to Ryan, Ronan has visitors, and Ronan gets sick…

Today is Ryan’s first full day at Warrior Week. I started the day off with my daily ritual of going down to the mail box and putting in my letter for Ryan. I have started printing off colour photos of Ronan and taping them on to the envelope. I blurred out the addresses for obvious reasons, but can anyone guess who is on the stamp?
