Monthly Archives: September 2005

Well we didn’t have quite a busy day as I thought. We didn’t make it out of the house in time for the walk. So we stayed inside until the 1000 playgroup. We left early because Ronan was tired and was fighting to sleep in his stroller. We didn’t get to the new playgroup at 1200 because he was sleeping, yet he woke up soon after. Anyone that knows me, knows that if I’m going to be more than 5 minutes late….I usually don’t bother going. I did have my hands full taking care of Ronan and keeping him busy today though. His cold has seem to gone away…yea!

I had to go rescue Ronan from his command center, after hearing him crying really loud. Turns out he had the biggest poop explosion yet. Luckily, this time it did not get on his command center, just all over his back side and on the inside of his clothes. I think it took 20 wet wipes to clean him. Then it was straight to the tub. I let him play with the bubbles while I washed his body and hair. We got the blowdryer out and gave him a really cool flip in the front. Then later we colasped on the floor with all our pillows and blankets and took a nap.

Ronan went to sleep right after the show tonight was over….what a good little boy!

Beating the bug

Ronan and I stayed home today, for the most part. We did venture outside to do a brief commissary run for necessities like: bread, eggs, cheese, milk, and chocolate. Ronan has been sleeping a lot today and I hope by tommrow his cold will be all gone. Last night he was sneezing, coughing a lot, and had a runny nose. This afternoon I haven’t heard him cough once. I had to reschedule my doctor’s appointment today for next week, but thats okay. I’m just glad we don’t have to take Ronan into the doctors. I just wish we had a humidifer (is that what its called) for Ronan’s room. He really needed it last night. It was really sad yesterday morning listening to him eat. He couldn’t breathe out of his nose and he sounded like a little piglet….poor baby! I managed to get his laundry done and now I just need to find a home for it. He has a lot of baby hangers and now has shelf space. Tommrow is going to be a busy day, so I hope he gets a lot of rest tonight!
