I took Ronan to the doctor today. He got his first ever well baby check up! He also got his next round of shots at the immunization clinic. So he should be good for shots until he is 12 months old. He did really good with his shots today too. He just got a little startled with the first shot and cried because, you know people are prodding sharp things into his leg. But as soon as I picked him up and took him out of the room he stopped crying. I was really proud of how brave he is!

We then went to our briefing about the DITY move later in the afternoon. It was a little akward because I HAD to feed Ronan. So picture this: A small room with an oval table that takes up most of the room. Men in uniform in every chair around it. I’m sitting in one of them with a camo blanket over my torso as I nurse Ronan. And a lady is briefing us about all the logistics. It was really wierd…but Ronan needed to be fed to keep him quiet.

I had a scrapbooking party at Rose’s house. I got a neat liliac scrapbook and a tool out of it. Rose’s son’s girlfriend came and the 5 of us girls, and Ronan, had a lot of fun. I completed my two page Easter layout. It turned our really great. When I got home I made a March page and a Cowboy Ronan page. Scrapbooking is really addictive once you have the right tools!

Also Ronan has a new toy. It is a 95 cent potholder I bought the other day. I thought I need more modern, young looking potholders (since I have a lot of southern/country ones that don’t suit my style) and found a couple there. Ronan loves playing with it and hey its a cheap toy!

We were supposed to go to a briefing on base at TMO about moving, but it didn’t happen. I left my wallet in my mum’s car from yesterday and by the time I got it back from her, the meeting had started. I was able to call before I missed it and rescheduled it for Thursday. Ronan and I went to a 95 cent store and bought a lot of picture frames for our new home. I put Ronan’s photo shoots in white ones and they look really neat. I cannot wait to get Ryan and Ronan shots done at the Picture People in Monterey.
