At base in the BX, Ronan tried to get the attention of some older girls. Sorry Ronan, they look like they are trying to get the attention of some Airmen instead. Oh well….We enjoyed some lemonade and did some furniture browsing.

At the ladies bible study at Jessica’s house Ronan was a little tired and started fussing. So Nonna and I showed him the fish tank. He was instantly mesmorized… He is just like his daddy in the way that he just loves fish tanks. Uh oh…Will mummy come home and find you and daddy putting together a fish tank (like my mummy did with me and my daddy?)?

Ronan really liked the fish! He kept kicking and making the “cous-cous” noises (in ref. to the time he tried to eat cou cous). Here in the picture I captured him trying to touch the fish through the glass. He wanted to jump right in and swim with them!

Today is Ryan’s first full day at Warrior Week. I started the day off with my daily ritual of going down to the mail box and putting in my letter for Ryan. I have started printing off colour photos of Ronan and taping them on to the envelope. I blurred out the addresses for obvious reasons, but can anyone guess who is on the stamp?

Ronan has picked up on the fact that if he looks sad, cries, or screams that someone will eventually pick him up. After staying with two sets of grandparents for the first part of his life, he has really gotten spoiled. What is he going to do when we are alone in our apt in Monterey? Especially for the first 30 days when daddy has to live at the dorm. If I need to cook dinner, I am not going to be able to hold him. Poor Ronan…He is just use to everyone loving him and wanting to hold him all the time!

Do you see the red on his thumb? Everyone who sees it thinks that Ronan has been sucking on his thumb too hard. So I have to tell them it is his birth mark. In fact his daddy has one on his hand like this too. He came out of the womb with it and only recently has started sucking on his fingers and fist (no thumb sucking). So ha.

Our friend Joel came over with 3 of his four children (baby is home with her mama). They all really liked Ronan and brought him a gift…the outfit you see here. The girls got out Ronan’s musical pooh book and Ronan really enjoyed listening to the music with them. Even though he was feeling a little under the weather he was smiling at them and having a really good time.
