Ronan had a good time watching the planes. Too bad he was too young to sign up for the sky diving!

Frosty
Ronan woke up this morning and was very, very hungry. He drank almost 8 oz. of formula! It must be that he is sleeping later, getting more sleep, and waking up much more hungry. At 1000 we went to Mom’s time and Ronan played on the floor while older kids created chaos around him. We came home and Ronan slept on my shoulder as we walked into the house. I put him down for a nap and he slept for a couple of hours…a very long nap! After he had been up for a while we headed to Petsmart to look at different things for our Huskies. We stopped by at Borders to find books on Huskies too. Then we got back in the car and fought the traffic to get back home.
Note: A new photo collage has been put up for last Sunday’s post.
When Ryan got home, we had planned to go out. Seaside was having this whole “shindig” leading up to fireworks this evening. But after we walked the dogs, I was ready to get off my feet (and give my hurt foot a rest). Ryan looked beat and Ronan was getting closer to his bedtime. So we went to Blockbuster and rented our two free movies for the month. Since it was pay day we treated ourselves to Wendys. At home we ate and Ronan had his bottle. I gave him a little bit of frosty to help his gums where he is teething. We couldn’t tell if he liked it or not, because I think the temperature of the frosty confused him. I asked him, in baby sign language, if he wanted some more. I told him if he showed me more, in sign language, I would give hime a little bit more. If not, he would get no more frosty. Guess what? He made the sign! I gave him a tiny bit more and then he finished his bottle like a very good boy. He went to sleep shortly after. He didn’t get to stay up for the movie, but thats okay. Daddy and I couldn’t keep our eyes open to watch it either.
Taking Care of Mummy
This morning I dropped Ronan off at Vicky’s so that I could go to the Emergency Room about my toe. I came back and Ronan was just about to fall asleep. He was sitting on Vicky’s lap, drinking from his bottle with his eyes closed. Not wanting to wake him up, I left again to run a few errans. I got milk for Vicky, walked the dogs, and filled out registration for my training in December. I came back and Ronan was awake and smiling with the girls. He loves hanging out with Vicky and her two little girls. We came home a little after 1300 and I put Ronan down for a nap. He woke up once the music stopped but then drifted back to sleep. I needed to get off my feet and take a rest, so Ronan sleeping peacefully was much appreciated.
We’ve reached the middle of the week already?
I think Ronan is on a new schedule now. For the last three days he has not woken up at 0500 or around there. No, in fact he has woken up at 0700 or later. Of course now he is only taking one or two naps in the day time. I am not really sure what time or when they are yet. Our days have been chaotic in the last week.
Last night Ronan ate all the tofu off my plate of Chinese takeout leftovers. There were about 4 two inch pieces and he downed them all. He also ate some fish too. He’ll eat food off my plate, but won’t eat food made for him specifically.
Well today we did a lot and probably did too much for having a hurt toe. Ronan and I took Sasha and Esusa out for a walk this morning, went to the pumpkin patch with Parent’s Place, and went to playgroup afterwards. Ronan spent a lot of time this evening laughing at the dogs or from me tickling him. His tooth hasn’t popped out yet, but he is still touching that area with his tongue or fingers.
