He kept leaning forward and swimming with his legs behind him like you and I would. But I was so afraid he would eat the water, which he kept trying to do. I didn’t want to have to call 911 because my baby has swallowed bath water…Anyways I let him swim like this for awhile, as long as I was holding him to make sure he didn’t dive head first in the water. What a brave little guy! He was swimming the hardest he has ever done today. He was kicking and kicking and kicking!  Posted by Hello

When Ronan’s daddy was about this age after playing around in the water many times like Ronan has he starte to dip his face in the water. The first time or two he did it we thought it might not be good for him. But he liked doing it so much we let him continue while we closely watched him. He soon learned it was not much fun to swallow the water and started closing his mouth and eyes…after he did this several times we then realized he was ready to be dunked…and he loved being dunked…we would count to three and he soon learned that when we said 3 we would push his body far enough in the water that his head would go under for a couple of seconds…so just before we said three he would atumatically close his eyes and mouth and let us dunk him…he love it…looks like Ronan may soon be ready for a dunk!
