Dr Appointments

Last night when I got back from my mayoral meeting (I’m VP Mayor of our neighbourhood) and scrapbooking, Ronan was still asleep. In fact he was asleep for the night. He woke up this morning after getting a full 12 hours of sleep….wow! We watched some children’s programs on tv, but Ronan wasn’t impressed. We started with some live action number where people were dressed up and sining on stage to an audience of children. Then we watched something called Babubles or something. It was pretty strange and Ronan seemed very concerned about it. He finally made me turn the tv off. After a short nap, it was time to drop him off at the CDC. I got a comment about dropping him off with out socks. I didn’t know they were going to be outside and I was hesitant to let him go with his robeez on. (What if he didn’t come home with them?) I left for my appointment and was back in two hours. He was upset…though not crying. I had apparently (yet again!) put a phase one nipple on the bottle. If it isn’t a phase 2 nipple, it takes a really long time for Ronan to drink the bottle. He was really hungry and was getting frustrated after a very long eating session. He still had 3/4 of a bottle left. So I apologized and took Ronan home after paying our $8 for two hours. I changed the nipple and Ronan had the bottle empty within minutes. He got all cozy in the blanket he was laying on and watched his baby einstein movie.

There is a new photo on the blog from Sept. 10th of Ronan and Grandpa. It is the last photo posted for that day.

That transfer from the stage 1 to stage 2 nipples is sooo.. frustrating to know what they want without making them choke!! Now when I find an old stage one nipple and we’re in a bot bot emergency, I just take out a knife and slice it up. She doesn’t care anymore – LOL!
