An Autumn Country Walk

Autumn Country Walk

Welcome to Travel Tuesday with Bonnie here at A Compass Rose.  As we have just under two weeks left of Autumn I wanted to take you on a trip to England with me to view some of the picturesque views outside of the city of Bath.  While it may be getting much colder, we donned our coats, hats, and scarves and wellies too.  What could be more perfect than stopping halfway on top of the hillside to enjoy a warm mug of tea while looking down on the towns below? It was a beautiful weekend and I have prepared a lovely picture journey, so that you can join us vicariously through this post. Do not forget to link up with your travel, expat, and wanderlust posts below!

Thank you Louisa. I wish he was our dog. Our landlady is against pets. But we found this guy outside of where he lives and so he walked with us awhile before heading back inside.

How ridiculously idyllic. Especially the berries for some reason, they just set the whole perfect autumns off!

Hi Bonnie, thanks for taking me on the walk to the beautiful countryside through your stunning photos. It’s such a lovely walk and the fall colors are so wonderful and calming. I hope to make it to the English countryside one of these days.

I totally love the British countryside! I spend many hours walking beautiful tranquil places over the past years and I can’t get enough of it, a wonderful place to be

I miss the country! Don’t get me wrong, Germany IS pretty and quite green but there’s no place like home ;). Beautiful pictures Bonnie! :-)

I never thought I would see the day where England looked warmer than the Pacific Northwest of the U.S. These pictures sum up fall so well. Beautiful colors and I love that farm and those sheep!!

Now that I’m back to blogging I can’t wait to start partaking in this link-up again! Your photographs are beautiful, by the way. Every one of them has such interesting lighting, which I think is essential to any good picture.

What fabulous photos Bonny! I love the autumn tones in your photos but just know that bleak winter photos are around the corner!
