Ronan gets in Mummy and Daddy’s bed for his bedtime story.

Ronan and Daddy share a bedtime story. This time it is about the Giving Tree.

Daddy tells Ronan he loves him before getting him ready for bed.

Why is Ronan upset? We just found out that Daddy will be leaving much earlier for basic than as planned. Instead of in 2-3 weeks he is leaving in just a few days. Ronan was just enjoying his special time with daddy (away from mummy) and now he will have to say goodbye for 6 weeks. Poor Ronan! He is really going to miss his daddy!

Grandpa and Nonna got Ronan a baby swim seat for the pool. We decided to let Ronan practice in his grandparents’ whirlpool bath. Not to our surprise, Ronan really enjoyed it. Here he is with his rubber duckie, smiling at his mummy.

Ronan was kicking and moving his arms about. He did not seem to mind having the jets on either. He really liked being able to float ‘on his own’…(though mummy was in the tub with him and had her hand on the buoy at all times.)

It was a whole lot of fun watching Ronan play in the water. He seemed to be either laughing and smiling or concentrating really hard….as seen in this photo.
