Marina Airshow
Ronan and I got up and took the doggies for a walk. When we got back we got ready to go out. We headed to the PX to find a the new Bissell Spot Bot. No luck. We were going to go to Costco next, but Daddy called. He needed his hat so he didn’t get sunburned. So we went home, grabbed the hat, and joined Daddy at the Airshow. He was working so we walked and looked at the WW2 planes on our own. For $600 we could have flown in the Mustange! Awwwww! Ronan was too little for sky diving, and I was getting hungry, so I dropped Ronan off with Daddy for a little bit. I went and got myself a chilli hotdog. Ronan was a little disappointed that he couldn’t share it with me. He got really fussy due to teething, needing sleep, and being hungry. So we said goodbye to Daddy and headed home. Ronan wouldn’t sleep so I gave him a bottle. He was then too awake to sleep so I put him in his command center to burn some energy. Finally he started getting fussy again, so I tried to put him back to sleep. For some reason he thinks being in my arms is more fun then sleeping. Well of coure it is! But you need your rest baby!
Frosty
Ronan woke up this morning and was very, very hungry. He drank almost 8 oz. of formula! It must be that he is sleeping later, getting more sleep, and waking up much more hungry. At 1000 we went to Mom’s time and Ronan played on the floor while older kids created chaos around him. We came home and Ronan slept on my shoulder as we walked into the house. I put him down for a nap and he slept for a couple of hours…a very long nap! After he had been up for a while we headed to Petsmart to look at different things for our Huskies. We stopped by at Borders to find books on Huskies too. Then we got back in the car and fought the traffic to get back home.
Note: A new photo collage has been put up for last Sunday’s post.
When Ryan got home, we had planned to go out. Seaside was having this whole “shindig” leading up to fireworks this evening. But after we walked the dogs, I was ready to get off my feet (and give my hurt foot a rest). Ryan looked beat and Ronan was getting closer to his bedtime. So we went to Blockbuster and rented our two free movies for the month. Since it was pay day we treated ourselves to Wendys. At home we ate and Ronan had his bottle. I gave him a little bit of frosty to help his gums where he is teething. We couldn’t tell if he liked it or not, because I think the temperature of the frosty confused him. I asked him, in baby sign language, if he wanted some more. I told him if he showed me more, in sign language, I would give hime a little bit more. If not, he would get no more frosty. Guess what? He made the sign! I gave him a tiny bit more and then he finished his bottle like a very good boy. He went to sleep shortly after. He didn’t get to stay up for the movie, but thats okay. Daddy and I couldn’t keep our eyes open to watch it either.
