Has Anyone Seen A Harry Otter?

This morning we were all up early and got ready for church. We went to the Church of Christ in PG this morning for the first time. I had noticed the building on our way to the Parent’s Place picnic a week back. It is a very cute building, probably the cutest CofC building I have laid eyes on. We were in time for bible class and Ronan went to cradle roll. Ryan and I went to the young adult class. A girl there was also a Chinese linguist, but in the Army. Coincidentally she had also attended Harding university and had graduated in 2002. We even knew some of the same people! So that was neat. I’m not sure how the church service was because Ronan and I spent most of it outside because he was being fussy. Of course once we were outside he stopped so he could watch the cars wizzing by. Though before we went out, he was being very cute. He kept trying to get the other baby’s attention from across the aisle.

Afterwards we went down to Cannary road for lunch. Can you guess where we ate? Yep, we went to Bubba Gumps. Ronan had a lot of fish and a few bites of mash potatoes. We strolled around Cannary Road afterwards. We were on a hunt to find the Harry Otter shirts. At last we found the Otter store and inside was a whole display devoted to the Harry Otter. It is like the Monterey Otter meets Harry Potter, on tons of merchandise. Ronan had to get a shirt.

We stopped at Target for some shopping needs. But Ronan was really not feeling very well. We figured out he is teething again and hopefully soon he will have his fifth tooth. He went home with Grandpa Bob. The rest of us shopped and found a lot of clothes for Ronan. We are still on a hunt for a better carseat. Any suggestions? We got home and found out our doggie has gone to the bathroom in several spots. Oh joy.

At home we relaxed a bit after being out on the go a whole lot. Ronan tried some of his chicken and noodle baby food but wasn’t too thrilled after a couple bites. He got into his new pjs and looked so cute! What a boy!

Ronan had a busy day! He went to church, strolled down Cannary Road, ate fish at Bubba’s, saw the Harry Otter, He played with Sasha, read books with Grandma, and took well deserved naps! Posted by Picasa

First time on the Beach

This morning Ronan woke up at his usual time. It was 0515. We fed him, changed him, and put him back to bed. When it got to be closer to 0800, Ryan and I left to go to the shelter. We adopted Sasha and brought her home. We decided she needed a good walk so we took everyone to the beach. It was a lovely day. We walked over to the warf and there was a festival going on. Both Ronan and Sasha got compliments from strangers. Sasha even got her photo taken with a lady who was visiting from India. The other people came up and commented what good dogs Huskys are with kids. Ronan got a compliment on his hat. Which is a very cool hat by the way! We walked on teh warf and got fish n’ chips to go. We got back home and had a very tasty lunch. Ryan and I gave Sasha a walk around the neighbourhood and passed a house that also has a Siberian Husky. Later, after Ronan’s nap, we went back out and did some shopping. We came home to find that Sasha had been a very good doggie. Way to go Sasha! For dinner we had pizza, wings, and salad. We tried watching North by Northwest, but everyone was tired. It had been a very long day.
