After a very long day, Ronan rests his head on his mummy and enjoys some time to cuddle.

Ronan, sick, doesn’t want to go to sleep. Baby you need your rest!

I got a lot done today. Ronan has a slight cold, though we are not sure from what it is caused. Either from daddy, teething, or some other unknown reason. Luckily it is just a runny nose and not feeling very well. Hopefully tomorrow he will feel better. I tried getting him to take a lot of long naps today. It has been a busy day of getting him to be happy, take naps, and get chores done. Ronan has let me get all of our dirty dishes cleaned (happy to announce the dishwasher is working again!) and clean the counter tops. I am almost done with all of Ryan’s work laundry (three loads!!!) and just need to dryclean his pants for his blues in our dryer with dryell. I have also been able to make Ronan’s room look less like army housing and more like a place you would want to hang out in. Usually the only time Ronan goes in there is for diaper changes and sleeping. I still have A LOT of unpacking, laundry, and decorating to do. But, as seen from the photos below, it looks 99.8% better! Ronan seems to be doing a lot better tonight. He isn’t as cranky as before and took a whole bottle all by himself tonight. Just a few minutes ago he was laughing hysterically as his daddy tickled him. It was pretty funny to listen to from in the office. I had to go in and see what was going on and even got to get into the tickle action myself. I don’t know what time it will be when Ronan will go to sleep tonight, it has been pretty late these last few nights. Tommrow will be a busy day, hopefully, and so will Wednesday. I hope Ronan gets a good night’s rest for the days ahead. He is looking forward to seeing his Grandpa Chuckles and Nonna!

I find another pooh bear in a box (which squeaks) and let Ronan play with it for a while, so I can get some things done.

Ronan likes to read. 

When you enter Ronan’s room this is what you see first. I have a shelving unit for clothes straight ahead. I put his pooh lamp and baskets for storage on it. I still need to hang up his pooh height chart, right now its hanging on the shelf. His pooh rug is on the floor next to his stereo. On the wall I have placed three photo frames. Two are of Ronan and I. The middle frame holds a colouring book photo I coloured. It is Roo and his mom with a cute mother and son quote. The glider is in the corner with the hand made blanket his G.G. Dovie made him and his boppy. On the wall behind the glider (next to the window) i am going to put up the huge coloured poster that the design from the blanket came from. Once I find where I saw it last, our hang it up. I am also going to put our mosquito net (from the bedroom) above the glider. I saw a picture like that, and it makes a cool effect around a chair. What a “magical” place for bedtime stories!
