Well I was able to drop Ronan off at the CDC before heading out to do my errans. I was a little sad to leave him, but there were no prolonged goodbyes. I went to the bank, found where the doctor’s clinic was located, went to staples to get a longer cord for our interent connection, and then went back to the doctor’s clinic for my appointment. I really like my doctor, he is awesome. I got my referrals, so hopefully soon I will have those doctor appointments. I went to pick up Ronan and noticed there were several children crying in the room already. As I signed Ronan out, I tried to hear if he was one of them. I didn’t hear him, so I felt relieved. But I don’t know if I just didn’t hear him or if he started when he heard my voice…but then I heard his cry. I wanted to like throw myself over the half gated door and run to his side. But I figured the more sane thing to do would be to actually open the door and walk to him. I looked at his teary eyed face and my heart just felt for him. I never liked these child development centers when I was little either. Luckily I only went there a few times so my parents could go on a date. Ronan was fine as soon as he was in my arms again. As we were leaving one of the ladies came up to tell me what an amazing baby he is and how good he was today. That made me very proud of him. We got home and I fed him and let him watch his movie. I really don’t want to leave him at the CDC anymore. I hope I can find someone else to watch him soon. Especially since I have several doctor appointments coming up in the next month. Ronan is being really cute right now and I just want to cuddle with him. I wish we could watch M.A.S.H together, but the 4 episodes have already come and gone for today. I still need to clean like crazy and try to get Ryan’s desk put up. I would really like to take a nap in our totally cool looking bedroom. It is so relaxing in there. You just walk and in and your muscles relax. Nice.
Oh POOP!
Well, we tried to get Ronan’s car seat transfered to the new car. But Ryan had to go to the police station to get someone certified to set it up. The last guy who was “certified” to set it up told us to choose either newspaper or buy something for $10 to put under the carseat to level it. This guy told Ryan that you should never stick anything under it. So I’m pretty confused with the whole car seat setting up thing.
We set up our bedroom furniture today. To see our new look, check out the Silent Ranks, my other blog. Ronan was given baby cereal by daddy today. He got it all over his face…but seemed to like it too. Then tonight he had a very smelly poop. So I went to change his diaper and was very shocked to what I saw. It was actual poop! I mean…yes its all real poop…but this wasn’t infant poop. It was very gross… It made me think about the women at playgroup who are having trouble potty training their sons. Apparently poop has been the problem. Great…what have I gotten myself into???
Also Ronan has been doing this really cute thing where he says, “bab bab bab bab bab” over and over. (not a hard “A” sound in bab) The face he makes as he says it…is sooo funny! It makes us laugh so hard and we try to make him do it a lot.
