Life with Ronan is E.A.S.Y. A simple timeline that takes a few hours and is repeated through out the day.

E: Eating. Ronan wakes up from his nap and the first thing we do is eat. He needs the energy for his playtime! 

A: Activity. Depending on the time of day, Ronan participates in different activities. Maybe we’ll sing or read together. Sometimes he plays with his grandparents. He has a fun oceans mat and a bouncer chair that he likes to play in. Of course he also just likes to stretch and move about on a blankie. Then there are the few intances where we get to go out of the house too. At night time he gets his bath which is a fun activity for Ronan.

S: Sleep time. After using up all his energy with activites, it is time to rest his eyes. Usually he goes down for a nap pretty easily. Sometimes he has to cry for a little bit, but it doesnt take long for him to stop fighting the urge to stay awake. I’ll walk out of the room and when I come back he is sleeping.

Y: You time. I use my me time to clean up and do laundry, knit, go online, eat, shower, and of course SLEEP! (….yawn….) 

Ronan is all smiles as he chills in Nonna’s chair in nothing but his diapers!

Grandpa Chuck decided it was time to get out of the house. So he took a vacation day and took us to the zoo. It has been over a month since Ronan was here last time. We didn’t have the Jeep stroller today, so I put him in his baby carrier and we walked around together. This time instead of sleeping in the stroller, he got to be awake and look, smell, and hear all the animals!
