Grandpa Chuck took us out to eat tonight. Ronan and Mummy had the Chicken pot pie and fruit…yumyumyum! There were so many babies in the resturant too. It was like a baby convention! Everywhere you looked there was a carseat with a baby inside! Posted by Hello

Of course then he gets all serious about his swimming. You can tell because he gets a look of total concentration. Sometimes, like here, he makes fish faces with is mouth. His hands will make splashing movements and he kicks his feet and legs. It was fun to watch him swim around the tub. When he would get up against the wall of the tub he would kick off with his strong legs…wow go baby go! Posted by Hello

He even likes it when I put the jets on. You can see all the ripples in the water from the water jets. It is like a water ride for Ronan….hmmm, maybe this will get him ready for Disneyland this summer! His mama always liked the water rides the best. If I didn’t get wet enough I would make my parents go on it again with me! Posted by Hello

I dried him off by using the blow dryer and then wrapped him up in one of his many bath towels. This one is like a white bear towel with a hood that has bear ears….awww! Here he is sucking on his fist. He started doing this a couple of weeks ago. He does it when he is hungry and tired. Posted by Hello

First Day with out Daddy

Yesterday was a hard day. We were very strong and brave when we had to say goodbye to daddy and we didn’t cry when we left him at the recruiter’s office. But all day we were both pretty sad and on the verge of crying. Then when it was time to go to sleep, I checked my email and found an email Ryan had sent me. I instantly cried when I finished reading it. Ronan ended up falling asleep, but it took me awhile because I was so sad. Ronan woke up at 2:30 am and he was hungry and missing daddy (Daddy usually picks him out of bed for his feedings/diaper changes so mummy doesn’t have to get out of bed).

Today was a different story. We both woke up refreshed and ready for a busy day of eating, playing, sleeping, diaper changes, changing outfits, laundry, etc. I got to work on my knitting projects while Ronan was sleeping and we had a fun photo shoot. Ronan kept me busy and didn’t cease to stop making me laugh or smile. God has used Ronan in my life to help keep me busy and happy. I think Ronan has smiled so much today and when he smiles, it makes me smile! Thank you sweetie! RoRo you are the best.

We still really miss daddy and are a little disappointed we didn’t get to talk to him on the phone before he shipped out today, but we had a good day today. I cannot wait for his first phone call next week and to find out his address so I can send him letters and photos of Ronan Avi. I can’t imagine how much he will grow while daddy is away. Sometime next week I should be able to get my ID card reissued to me and get us into the system. That will be a nice perk! Plus then Ronan can see a doctor on base and we will be done with the no insurance thing.

I cannot wait for six weeks when we can go see Ryan! A week or so before we go to San Antonio, Ryan’s parents are coming out to visit with RoRo. Then the week after San Antonio, RoRo and I are going to Disneyland with Nonna for her birthday! I know these six weeks will fly by and before we know it we will be in our new house in Monterey with daddy and it will be wonderful! Our prayers are with you Ryan! Be strong and courageous in the LORD!
