Over the past years I have reserved my weekends
on the blog as a creative outlet.
Saturdays I predominantly share self portraits
Sundays have been my ‘free day’.
I write about what is on my heart
or write nothing at all.
This has helped
past blog series find a home
while I continually grow
and A Compass Rose continues to evolve.
2014.
Two month down.
Already a new theme emerges.
Just to be.
Be the moment.
It is not the past nor the future
but the present which we can engage
to find the happiness we deserve.
To take a hold of this life
and not let a day slip away
without attempting what you want
and what you dream.
To be present.
To be the best version of yourself.
To be authentic.
and to realise in the end its not about you at all.
But about the people around you.
The ones you love.
Love.
In the end it is all we have.
Not something we hope to attain.
Or love we hope to find in life.
But something we can give.
Be the love
to shine light
in a dark world.
