My Dad at the USAF Academy

My friend Roxy visited my dad last week at the United States Air Force Academy, where he was laid to rest in 2008. Her boys left beautiful flowers on his tombstone. Thank you Roxy Murphy, it means a lot to me. Wish I could have gone to see him with you. xx — with Roxy Murphyand 3 others at United States Air Force Academy.

The Sun comes out and we flock to the Beach.

The Sun came out today and so everyone flocked to the beach at Brighton.  After picking up the boys from school we decided to meet up with Ryan’s friends. But by the time we got to Brighton the sun hid behind the clouds and the temperature dropped again.  Ryan’s friends had become reclusive to their apartment and we had the beach to ourselves.  As the light started to go down we decided to seek warmth at the pub for dinner.  But not before we got some new family photos on the shores of Brighton Beach.

“Stelllllllllllaaaaaa!” The pebbles at Brighton beach make great can holders.

‎”Why is Mummy laughing?” asked my eldest son. “That’s her nervous laugh. She does that when I make fun of her,” my husband replied.

Hair Model

Here I am at my place of work during my day off.  Why you ask? Well to be fair, even though I am a hair designer it is not easy to get my own hair done.  Besides finding a time I can come in on my day off, finding another stylist with the same free time is hard to come by.  So whenever I hear one of the trainees mention they are at a loss for a model for an upcoming class I volunteer.  Today Emma gave me a much needed trim and refreshed my colour with PM Shines, a demi permanent conditioning colour. Thank you Emma! xx
