Support Military Kids!
I was born in England and lived on military bases overseas until I turned 17 and my family ‘returned’ to the states. I later became a military wife and had two of my own military ‘brats’. This is cause near my heart. Theres a lot that military kids go through. The moment my dad came home from the gulf war when we were in England still sticks to my mind as one of the best days of my childhood. Seeing him alive and home, even better yet, that he surprised me at school after field hockey brought the biggest smile to my face.

Happy Easter Part II
The joys of living in another country are receiving care packages from family members ‘back home’. We received our Easter package from my in laws today and the boys were really excited to stretch out Easter just a little further. Besides what child would say no to more candy? Obviously not mine.

Watching live tv for the first time off my FIL’s slingbox. Almost a year since I’ve seen American commercials. Feel like Im back in the US.
National Sibling Day
I love keeping journals, as does my little sister Zoe. In fact sometimes when I’m writing in my journals I think of Zoe and how she writes in cursive in hers. Not sure why this random fact comes to my mind, but it does. I clipped my flower hair clips on my journal here for a nice little photo op for Instagram.

Watching Tangled (love this film!) & wishing I had her hair colour. I blame Barbie from my childhood. Probably why I love the PB Bunny look.

Happy Easter
I have not fathomed just how big and over the top America celebrates holidays. Trying to find things to put in the boys’ Easter baskets proved this point to myself. There are lots of eggs, but no ‘baskets’. There is also not a plethora of plastic green grass, needless Easter toys and egg dying kits. I love the thought of just buying an Egg and the boys were both excited to get their own egg. However I did pick up some extra little chocolates, a film, and a few items from the toy section so we can have some new things to do together while they are on Easter Break.
